Services @ 10am and 6pm
Our morning services (10am) include great music (contemporary and traditional) and a biblical message dealing with everyday life. Nursery age 0-3, and Sunday School age 3-9 is provided as well.
After each Sunday morning service someone will be in the prayer room willing to pray with you privately and confidentially. Our prayer Coordinator, Judy C. is also available via the church office should any prayer needs arise.
Welcome Home: The purpose of Welcome Home is to provide an opportunity for students, guests, and members that come to MFC to have a place to go for coffee/refreshments after the morning service. Come and get to know your friendly host family who you will meet at the door where they will also provide you with a map to their house. Your whole family is welcome at Welcome Home. It is a great way to experience community and get to know each other.
For a different experience of church – join us Sunday evenings at 6pm.
Twice per month we meet in a small group setting. We call these evenings OASIS (Nursery, KidZone, and Momentumprograms are provided for children during these times). On the other Sunday evenings we hold a relaxed and inclusive service (Nursery, and Sing – a – Long, programs are provided for children during these times).
Nursery – A free nursery service is available for infants and young children up to age 3 during all the services. Babies, crawlers, and toddlers all get the special care they need in a safe and playful environment.
Sunday School – Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
Children aged 3 to grade 4 are invited to participate in our Sunday School classes offered during the morning worship services. Children receive age appropriate teaching, songs, games and crafts which nurture them to know, love and serve God.
During the summer months July and August, classes are held for ages 3-5 only. Children above this age are encouraged to join our worship services.
Sing-a-Long – In the evenings there is a program for children age 3-7 and meets during OASIS and regular evening services. It is made up of such activities as singing, playing, crafts and stories.
KidZone – meets during OASIS evenings for ages 7-10 and offers such activities as singing, crafts and stories.
Momentum – meets during OASIS evenings and is a dynamic group made up of grades 6,7 and 8 youth. This is a fun lively group. Some of our past highlights include gym nights, meeting with interesting people from our church, a “work party” for our church, and a pizza and movie night.
OASIS – (One Another Serving in the Saviour) One of the ways we meet in small group is on the first and third Sunday nights during the fall, winter and spring months. We call these nights OASIS. There is something for everyone, activities for kids….Nursery, Sing-a-Long, KidZone, and Momentum. As adults we meet from 6-7:15pm for bible study, topics of interest such as Parenting, Social Justice, Health and Wellness, etc. So while kids enjoy their activities adults can enjoy a time of learning and growing together.
